Kevin Kaous of 102 JAMZ

Ive been in the music industry for years now. Ive worked in commercial radio since I was 16. I first started making beatz in high school at Weaver Center in the Electronics Music Class in 1992. From there I started working with DJ Polo at OBIA Studios producing and learning as much as I could. This is when I met up with Devhour and we both worked at the studio as in house producers and ran sessions that came in.



My radio career became more and more hectic in 1998 and I slowly faded away from the studio, drop out of college and officially stopped making beatz. I moved from being an intern and working mix shows and overnight shifts at Power 97 to Director of Marketing and Promotions for the best Hip Hop Station in NC102 JAMZ! I have done independent marketing and promotions for various companies such as : Elektra, RPM Marketing, Franchise Marketing, Universal, Interscope, A&M, Virgin, Cash Money, Perspective, Chupa Chups, and Urban Force.



I got back in the game because of the love of music. I bought a MPC 1000 at the end of October 2004 and from there I have been just making beat after beat. I linked up with Devhour and Ski in 2005 and joined something that they were formulating which ended up being the Carolina Noize Boyz. We have a lot of things in the works so I will definitely keep updates on the page!
