Noel G.'s childhood included a passion for many genres of 70's and 80's music. He was especially drawn to and inspired by the early "electro" music sound that was emerging during this period. Growing up in the New York City area Noel G. was fortunate to witness and embrace the rise of the electronic sound in Hip Hop, Trip-Hop, House, Techno, Trance, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Synth-pop, Hi-NRG, etc.

el G.'s early influences in electronic music include Kraftwerk, Arthur Baker, Giorgio Moroder, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Afrika Bambaataa, Depeche Mode, New Order, Todd Terry, Marly Marl and Mantronix to name a few. By age 13 Noel G. was behind turntables seamlessly mixing all types of electronic music and eventually mastering the art of cutting & scratching, as his passion for early Hip Hop culture transformed his life.
By age 16 Noel G. began to focus on producing Hip Hop music. His first makeshift studio consisted of two Technics SL-1200's, a DJ mixer, a Tascam 4-track recorder and a Digitech 4 second digital delay, which allowed him to create one-bar loops from his extensive collection of Jazz, Funk, R&B and Soul records. Fast-forward 3 years to significant technological advances in drum machines and samplers, at which point Noel G. reignited his childhood passion for dance music and began to write and produce the Club and House music sound of the late 1980s. The rest, as they say, is history.
Currently Noel G. is working on completing his debut EP "The Light" coming out on Soltrenz / Strictly Rhythm Records in mid 2012.
