O Mc/Dj e Produtor NITRO DI representa o Hip Hop do Sul do Brasil, sendo um dos nomes mais respeitados no segmento em que atua. Nascido em Porto Alegre, ele soma mais de quinze anos de estrada, em têm seu currículo êxitos como o grupo Da Guedes, que fundou em 1993, o reconhecimento como produtor musical no prêmio Hutuz em 2005 e o primeiro portal de Cultura Hip Hop do Sul, chamado *Adversus, uma referência para o resto do país.
Em 2006, iniciou oficialmente o trabalho com seu selo independente, Adversus discos, lançando seu primeiro trabalho solo como Mc. Produzido por ele mesmo, o álbum "Fortes Corações" teve grande repercussão nacional e indicações para prêmios importantes de música. A mistura de musica regional, a milonga do sul da América latina, e o Hip Hop formam uma sonoridade inédita que já virou marca registrada de seu trabalho.
Nitro continua produzindo e apoiando ativamente o crescimento da cena local. Atualmente é responsável pelo Programa Mix Tape, representando o gênero na maior rede de rádios no sul do Brasil, a Rede Atlântida FM. O programa vai ao ar todos os domingos, das 20 às 22 horas, ao vivo para o RS e SC.
Enquanto prepara seu novo trabalho como Mc para 2011, Nitro disponibiliza músicas inéditas na internet e revela mais uma competência dentro da Cultura Hip Hop, assumindo os toca-discos, colocando fogo na pista com suas performances de rima. "É todo mundo com a mão pra cima"!

MC and music producer Nitro DI was born in 1976 in the Southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre. He started his music career in 1993 when he founded one of the most influential local bands within the national and international hip-hop scene, Da Guedes. Since their first recording in 1995 and the first local rap CD launched by a national recording company in 1999, Nitro has been active in the area's cultural scene, producing events and assisting artists. Its pioneer work was confirmed when he established the first recording studio dedicated exclusively to rap in his hometown, Adversus, in 2001, having gained recognition as a music producer and receiving important nationwide awards.
In 2003, he established the first internet portal for hip-hop culture in southern Brazil – www.adversus.com.br – where he and other independent artists share a space that has become a reference for the rest of the country and is recognized internationally.
In 2005, Nitro started his work with his independent label, Adversus Records, launching his first work as MC. Produced by himself, "Fortes Corações" (Strong hearts) had high national repercussion and was nominated for important national and local music awards. The mix of regional music, the milonga from the south of Latin America and hip-hop create an unprecedented sonority that is already a trademark of his work.
In 2007, Nitro took up the challenge of presenting the first hip-hop program in a wide-reaching FM radio station. By communicating with the southern region through Mix Tape, a program transmitted on Sundays in the main youth station in southern Brazil – Atlântida FM – he establishes himself as a communicator and DJ in the best parties of that sort.
In the second half of 2011, Adversus launches its first collection including recording since 2002. Nitro is also offering new songs on internet for download and preparing his solo second album for 2011.
