Nina Dioz is an up and coming emcee hailing from the underground movement of Monterrey, Mexico who has quickly started to establish a name for herself on a nation level. In November of 2007 Nina Dioz unleashed to the world her debut EP titled "Marcapasos" spawning the hit single "Cuando, Cuando". Within weeks of its release it started to chart on Mexico's top radio stations and landing her the 87th spot in Reactor's top 105 songs of the year.
The EP includes seven tracks and some pretty important yet wide range of producers starting off with Erick Santos aka Piochaz known for his work as a member of La Flor De Lingo, as well as holding many production credits to his name. Other producers include Serko Fuentes of GL Producciones, Sho of The Northsiders, Mr. Pitbull as well as electronic music influences from producer E. Royale giving la Nina Dioz a totally new school and refreshing sound.
Nina Dioz is young, energetic, and full of passion for her music, a hard worker and has proven that in just a short amount of time. She has served as the opening act to many international artists such as El Chojin (Madrid, Spain), Tote King (Seville, Spain), Delinquent Habits (Los Angeles, CA), The Beatnuts (Queens, NY), Ghostface Killa (NYC), Molotov (Mexico City), and she has made special appearance for Plastilina Mosh, Mexican Institute of Sound, HelloSeahorse and Sonidero Nacional live acts just to name a few. Without a doubt Nina Dioz is one to be on the look out for and a star waiting to happen. The promise of the next generation of Spanish speaking emcees is great and I am more than sure that Nina Dioz will deliver.

"Niña Dioz, 23, is Mexico's answer to Grammy-nominated powerhouse M.I.A. or the diminutive rapper Lady Sovereign, and like those multiculti acts, she's used her innate grit and fire to carve out a spot in the largely male-dominated world of hip-hop in her native country. Now she plans to bring Mexican hip-hop to the rest of the world."
