The talented rock group of four, Nil, with their excellent lead singer Hanka Kosnovska recorded their second album under the control of producer Ecson Waldes at Studio Biotech. Melodic rock songs sung in English are carried well by the professionally coordinated band and the bewitching vocal of one of the best Czech rock singers in CZ.
Rock fans got to know this band from their debut album THE RIVER SPRING. The new album DIRTY continues in the way the band set out and while the members have remainded unchanged (Hanka Kosnovska – vocal, Jan Koncicky – guitar, Kobez - bass, Michal Koncicky – drums) the group has developed over the years. The songs have become more elaborately arranged but thanks to the energy of singer Hanka Kosnovska they wildly bite the listener.
The new album sounds fresh thanks to the precise sound of Studio Biotech. However, there is diversion from the debut album, seen in the less happy look on life. "I wouldn't say this album is depressing, maybe it's dark.Anyway, I've got a feeling that we don't play happy music at all" explains lead singer Hanka, the author of all lyrics, which are very personal. "Maybe on an album in the future I will apologize to people for what the lyrics on DIRTY are about."

Nil is an energetic band, which gets listeners in the buzz with their stage performance "It is not easy to put the energy into the songs at the studio, and I think others have the same problem. On the other hand, a studio offers different advantages which are not practical live". As a result the album Dirty is a well-balanced mix of stage vividness and studio quality.
Band Nil has existed since 2002. Since then the band has played almost three hundred shows (including performances at festivals such as Rock For People, Colours of Ostrava, Masters Of Rock and many more ) and in 2005 was the support act for the famous Czech band Cechomor on their major tour. In the middle of 2005 NIL took part in a contest called Coca Cola Popstar and got into the final. NIL has also played abroad, in Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Holland . In 2007 the album The River Spring was released.
