Nicole Jane are a vocal trio consisting of brothers, Jace B Carreira, Alfie-J Carreira, and Dieu Carreira. Since officially forming as a musical collective in 2007, The Boys have been blowing up the European music stages for the past 4 years, having performed to over 1 million people across Europe, and have toured with Multi Platinum selling artists such as Ne-Yo, Timberland,Tinie Tempah, NDubz and Lady GaGa. The three brothers came from a musical background, growing up listening to Soul/Latin/pop music and singing every where they could from local churches to doing doo wop harmonise in the streets of London adding strength and real soul in their vocal approach which helped develop a huge thirst to perform on the big stage and make great music.
Nicole Jane have made appearances on MTV base and various other music channels. They have received regular airplay from the UK's leading radio stations including Choice FM, Galaxy Network, Kiss FM, Radio 1, 1Xtra and all the leading specialist shows on ILR, Digital, community, URL and pirate radio stations.
NJ have also been voted the number 1unsigned Artist on MySpace for 3 years in a row with over 4 million views and plays and have done major tours in other European countries such as Russia, Romania, Japan, Germany, France and Belgium. To have achieved all this success With a work ethic that is unrivalled, along with flamboyant showmanship and soulful vocal delivery all supported by great songs without the push of a major record label is nothing short of outstanding and it's clear to see why they have been named "the most exciting young group Britain has seen in 15 years" by NME Magazine.
2007: Nicole Jane formed and capped off the year by winning the best Pop act at the Official UK Unsigned Contest. UK Unsigned Contest is a nationwide talent competition which is held each year and attracts tens of thousands of musicians across all genres from all over the UK competing to be crowned the best unsigned act in the country.
The buzz quickly blew up for Nicole Jane as they were doing club tours with fellow newcomers the now Platinum selling UK Rap group Ndubz and shortly after they were invited to support USA RnB multi platinum selling artist Ne-Yo on his 3 dates UK tour and after the success of this tour they went on to support one of the UK's finest soul singer Lemar on the entire of his 22 dates "Truth About Love" UK Tour and gained rave reviews one of which came after their last tour performance at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo when the venue manager stated "In my 30 years of managing I have not seen such a reception for some major artists let alone a support act, you have truly out classed the main artist", The boys didn't rest and carried on performing and were literally blowing away audiences with their high energy shows on stage with their pitch perfect vocals and innovative performances. By the end of 2007 Nicole Jane had performed over 500 shows to a combined audience estimated at 100,000 people, Gaining a huge new following on their MySpace which resulted in NJ being crowned number 1 RnB act on the MySpace charts Worldwide.
2008: Nicole Jane's show stealing reputation had reached Europe where they spent the majority of the year touring other countries including Russia where they did a 6 stadium sell out tour and were asked to perform for the Russian president, also Romania and Germany to name a few, earning the nickname "The Great Nicole Jane" by all who experienced their live shows in the often impossible market to penetrate. NJ were asked to represent the United Kingdom and perform at the International Pop Music festival in Romania which is televised and broadcast out to 98million viewers across Europe, and the boys did so even singing in Romanian language which the natives loved. 2008 also saw the group rise to even greater heights by being crowned the number one unsigned R&B pop group by MySpace for the second year in a row with over 2 million plays on their page. All without a major record Company push. It's no wonder that by the end of 2008, Nicole Jane had gone from supporting the headlining acts in Europe to becoming the headline act at festivals across Europe and becoming regulars on European television and radio stations.
2009: Saw Nicole Jane continue to rise as a major force in the music industry, at this point the UK seemed like a distant memory as the group continued to tour Europe with extra dates in France and Belgium to penetrate the European market further, by the summer the boys got their first taste of the Asian market on a rare visit to Japan where they supported Multi platinum selling US star Lady Gaga. Not being content with all their popularity and being crowned number 1 on the MySpace charts again, the boys decided to stop touring and return to the UK to write and finish off their debut album "Searching 4 Nicole" an album which their fans have been asking for.
By the end of the year Nicole Jane were back on stage sharing the headline tag with Multi Platinum selling UK Rapper Tinie Tempah and doing a one off show supporting The Legendary Grammy winner US RnB Producer/hit maker Timberland in the UK.
2010: Was a quite year by Nicole Jane's own standards as they concentrated hard on making the perfect album, working with some of the best producers in the business to accentuate the Nicole Jane sound, the boys only performed at charity events as they continued to concentrate on the main ingredient which will bring forward their journey.
2011: Nicole Jane currently putting the finishing touches to an almost finish album and are getting ready to launch their first official UK single.
