In search of new talent, Debra Moton of Eternity Entertainment Group held an audition at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Although the girls had only been together as a group for a week, Debra saw something special in the trio. Debra called her friend and business partner Trissa Rene to have her view the audition tape. With years of experience between them, Debra and Trissa knew these young ladies were definitely stars on the rise.



Honey Bun (Diamond Bar, CA) delivers sassy, sultry vocals; Show Out (West Covina, CA) brings the funk vibe and 2-Tu (Los Angeles, CA) adds a sweet jazzy flavor. The ladies of NICKNAME possess their own sound and identity. "We are innovators and trend-setters," says Honey Bun, 2-Tu adds, "We love the fact that we are original". "We really vibe off of each other and come up with all types of ideas" explains Show Out. "Our sound represents funky, soulful grooves, with hard hip hop beats." -NICKNAME.



The girls have toured constantly, turning in consistently great performances, building a big following and confirming the huge talent that continues to bring their own blend of experience and fun to entertain and amuse you. These ladies are out on the road and ready to continue this affair with R&B and hip-hop. . .all you have to do is bring yourself and your time enjoy. . .you wont regret it. The more they perform the more they continue to demonstrate the talent and enthusiasm they have for what theyre doing.
