Forming in the later half of 2006, New Season Black have been destined for a piece of the action. The boys hit the ground running, exploding onto Adelaide's live scene alongside two of Australia's defining alternative rock acts in Behind Crimson Eyes and 28 Days for their first ever show.

With their veteran-esque work ethic and mature writing style accompanied with their afore mentioned debuting Myspace Secret Show, the boys have concreted themselves shows alongside many of Australia's premier underground and now mainstream acts, including Closure In Moscow, The Hot Lies, Carpathian, The Amity Affliction, and Irrelevant, and International rising stars, Escape The Fate.

Boasting melodic hooks, momentous riffing, and explosive live shows, NSB are quickly gathering themselves an eager-to-return fan base who are always left more than pleased, but wanting that little bit more, show after show.

NSB's focus was soon to shift into the studio to produce their debut effort, a 6 track release, titled Fate of The Fallen and featuring their Lead Single, "Running After The Same Ghost", released April 26th 2007.

This infectious release, mastered by Ted Jensen (My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Bjork), at Sterling Sound NYC, and introductory track, "Surrender" was quick to catch the ears of locals, promoters and radio personnel alike, upon release for streaming, with the lead single and "Surrender" both on current rotation, on ABC's Triple J radio.

It is that support and momentum, that saw the boys successfully top the TripleJ Unearthed Contest, landing them a support slot on the Adelaide 2007 Taste of Chaos, alongside Rock/Emo heavyweights, The Used and punk/hardcore veterans Rise Against, among others.

This budding success was soon to blossom, when the boys where chosen to feature on the V Energy Local Produce Stage, at the 2008 Adelaide Big Day Out, alongside the almighty Rage Against the Machine, Aussie owned Silverchair, and many more International and Australian artists.
