Watch: Viet Cong debuts new video for ‘Silhouettes’

Published: January 23, 2015

Sci-fi junkies Viet Cong have released a new video for the song "Silhouettes" that tells the story of a spaceman visiting a haunted house.

The video was directed by Brook Linder, who also made the video for Pink Mountaintops' "Second Summer of Love" (also worth watching).

We premiered their highly anticipated debut with a First Play last week and since then, the Calgary band has been interviewed by the New York Times, signed on to play the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona and garnered a 'best new music' label from Pitchfork.

Watch the video below.

Does there seem to be a sci-fi trend in music? What has been the best video you've seen so far in 2015? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @cbcradio3.
