Calgary's Sled Island Music Festival has announced its initial lineup for 2015 and performers include Television, Daniel Lanois, and Viet Cong.
The music and arts festival will run over five days and feature more than 250 artists, comedians and filmmakers starting on June 24.
This year's guest curator is Godspeed You! Black Emperor, who will also play two nights at Central United Church. Daniel Lanois will be doing a residency and artist talk at the National Music Centre as well as playing a show at the Republik.
Other performers include the recently united Drive Like Jehu, Ex Hex, Pentagram, Fu Manchu, Oxbow, Lightning Bolt, King Tuff, Pissed Jeans, Jaga Jazzist and Black Milk.
