It's been 40 years since iconic Canadian rockers Rush released their eponymous debut in 1974, and now the band is rewarding fans many of whom aren't even as old as that first album with a sprawling 10-DVD/six-Blu-ray live box set.
Titled R40, the comprehensive collectors' set features live footage from all four decades of their career, as well as more than two hours of unreleased material, including a rare performance of the entire seven-part version of 2112 that was filmed in 1997.
Also included are three unreleased tracks from the "1974 vault," and a 52-page hardcover book that catalogues Rush's 40 years of live performance.
Fans who want to see the band in the flesh will have to wait, because they are taking the year off from touring but the set is available starting Nov. 11.
