As confirmed earlier this week, Pusha T will release a new project called Darkest Before Dawn on December 18 as a prelude to his sophomore album King Push, set to arrive next Spring. But don’t go thinking this is any old throwaway tape. Aside from boasting guest appearances from Kanye West, A$AP Rocky and Beanie Sigel, plus production from Puff Daddy, Pharrell and Q-Tip, Darkest Before Dawn is also being accompanied by a 20-minute short film.
The film, which looks like it combines the streets and spirituality into one exciting package, was directed by Kid Art and funded by Jay Z. It’s set to be premiered at Art Basel in Miami next month, but for now, feast your eyes on the trailer below, courtesy of Complex.
