Since dropping his still-entertaining Is This Art? project back in February, Boston’s Michael Christmas has quietly been on a tear, hitting the studio with the likes of Mac Miller, Chuck Inglish and Allan Kingdom (and with Christmas round the corner, there’s still a perfect opportunity for him to leave his mark).
So while it’s pretty much guaranteed that bigger and better things are on the way, Christmas breaks us off with this early stocking-stuffer called “Bootleg Designer,” featuring Sir Michael Rocks. It’s another fine example of his trademark self-deprecating humor and everyman charm as he raps about proudly rocking fake designer gear and still “getting double looks by your bitches.”
