Guests at this year’s British Fashion Awards got a royal surprise when the Dutchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle made an unannounced appearance. What made this occasion even more special? Her undeniable baby bump!
The Dutchess was there to honor the same woman who made her wedding dress, Clare Waight Keller with the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award. Keller, who is also the artistic director of Givenchy, thanked Markle for trusting her with designing a dress for her big day.
“I got to know Meghan on such a personal level,” the British designer said. “To have someone like that trust you in an incredible moment in their life is something that is just the most unbelievable honor. I can’t thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment.”
In the name of Keller, Meghan wore a silk black Givenchy dress showing off her growing belly beautifully.
“It is such an honor to be here celebrating British fashion and British fashion designers in my new home of the U.K.,” Meghan said while on stage.

For those who don’t know, Queen Elizabeth isn’t fond of colored nails and opts that royal women wear nude colors only. Some have reportedly said she found colored nail polish to be distracting and vulgar but then again word on the street is it’s an unofficial rule So in other words those kind of rules are meant to be broken aren’t they?
