John Legend landed at JFK airport and got jacked in the process. Womp!
The “Ordinary People” singer landed in NY on Thursday and was approached by a driver hustling for fares … nothing out of the usual. But according to the NY Daily News, during the convo the cabbie swiped Johnny’s bag and got away with some pretty pricey stuff.
TMZ reports that “the bag contained a pair of Cartier Panther cuff links with clear and green stones, valued at $30k. The clothes inside were valued at $500, and there was a $500 pair of eyeglasses.”
Thankfully, Port Authority Police officers caught the suspect a short time later and Legend got his bag back. Charges are currently pending.
