You can add RoccStar to the list of hot producers working on Fergie‘s much-anticipated comeback album. (Mike WiLL Made It, DJ Mustard and Will.i.am are also involved). I asked him about the project during a recent interview and he couldn’t contain his excitement. “I did a couple tracks on there and I’m gonna do some more because I love Fergie.”
And what does the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman’s new LP sound like? “It’s The Dutchess mixed in with some Rihanna… it’s like an upgraded version of her. She has more edge, and I made sure she’s ahead of this current movement.” Leon Youngblood Jr. (his real name) produced the title track of Jennifer Lopez‘s A.K.A.and has several songs on Chris Brown‘s X. He also worked with Beyonce on two songs that didn’t appear on her game-changing visual album.
