Pitbull is on a roll. The MC successfully hosted the American Music Awards on Sunday night (November 23) and immediately launched a promo blitz for new LP Globalization. Mr. Worldwide even had Lorde gushing. “I met pitbull backstage, felt this wave of his charisma and loveliness wash over me, probably not dissimilar to meeting the president,” she raved on Twitter. What’s next for the rap mogul? A killer performance of Dr. Luke-produced single “Time Of Our Lives” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
There are much better songs on Globalization — check out Chris Brown-assisted earworm “Fun” or brilliant Bebe Rexha collaboration “This Is Not A Drill” — but “Time Of Our Lives” is slowly winning me over a little more with each live performance. Guest vocalist Ne-Yo did a typically incredible job with the song, while Pitbull was his usual ball of energy, bouncing around the stage like a mad man. See the suave fellas do their thing up top.
