Trey Songz strips off for his "Slow Motion" video, which finds the crooner getting down.
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Kat DeLuna. The 27-year-old, who landed a huge hit with 2007 debut “Whine Up,” has been concentrating on the European market of late, but she’s back and more outrageous than ever if new single “Bum Bum” is any indication. The track represents a major change of pace for the club queen with its slow, tropical beats and explicit Trey Songz feature.
“If you wanna love me, you gotta do it right,” coos Kat over slinky horns. “‘Cause every queen needs a king that wants her body all day and night.” From there, “Bum Bum” cleverly interpolates Shaggy’s 2000 chart-topper “It Wasn’t Me.” It’s a sexy bop that will hopefully click with rhythmic and urban radio programmers. After all, it’s about time the “Unstoppable” diva caught a break. Killer pop anthems “Push Push,” “Drop It Low” and “Dancing Tonight” all deserved more success stateside.
