The lineup for Splendour In The Grass 2017 will be revealed next Wednesday March 29.
Organisers confirmed the date on Facebook this morning, and announced that ticketing details will also be revealed at that time. The lineup will be broadcast on triple j.
Lineup rumours have been swirling at a rapid pace over the past few months, with the latest being that acts such as Frank Ocean, Bjork and Solange have all been ruled out – as they are appearing at LA festival FYF festival on the same weekend.
The good news is that a stack of the heavy-hitters on the Fuji Rock line-up – the Japanese festival that often shares acts with Splendour – are still in contention. Lorde, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, The xx and Aphex Twin are still wide open the weekend of SITG.
Another act is in the mix too: electronic artist Bonobo, who is playing a show in Auckland that week, prompting many to think he’ll also play Splendour.
