Season two of the Kroll Show premiered last night on Much and boy are we glad to have Nick Kroll and his many zany characters back. The episode saw the return of our faves, Liz & Liz, C-Czar, George and Gil and even introduces us to a new character, Niece Denise.
Let’s talk about that opening, though. People running in slow motion, towards a “cake train” run by Zach Galifianakis, and lots and lots of cake. Get out of our dreams, Kroll.
And then we caught up with bad boy C-Czar. Looks like he knocked someone up (the woman’s identity is later revealed) and needs to go through a crash course at the Dad Academy in order to be deemed a fit father. We’re not entirely sure if he really learned anything, though…
Of course, the main storyline of this episode revolved around our absolute favourites Liz & Liz of Publizity!
And plot twist: Liz is pregnant (yep, with C-Czar’s baby)!!
Liz totally thinks that she can take care of this baby, though, and even invites her niece Denise (best rhyme ever) to L.A. to bond and prove that she can look after another human being. But when Denise arrives to look for her aunt, the other Liz takes Denise out where they meet a cool photographer (played by Will Forte) who finds a muse in Denise.
Liz runs out on Denise at lunch and leaves her with the photogragpher who has now deemed Denise to be his niece now. R.I.P. Denise…??
