The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Are Coming To Much

Published: February 22, 2018

It’s hard to believe, but the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards are already less than three weeks away. And fortunately for us, several artists have agreed to take the iHeartRadio stage in order to help make the big night as exciting as possible.

Ed Sheeran, who is nominated for five iHeartRadio awards this year (and, despite theories to the contrary, didn’t actually get secretly married) is set to perform alongside fellow Male Artist of the Year nominee Charlie Puth. Cardi B, who is nominated for Best New Hip-Hop Artist as well as Hip-Hop Song of the Year, Best Lyrics, and Best Music Video for “Bodak Yellow,” has also been announced as a performer.

Bon Jovi isn’t up for any awards this year, but the New Jersey rock group will perform and stick around to pick up their iHeartRadio Icon Award, a brand-new prize that celebrates musicians who have helped shaped music history and influence contemporary artists. Fellow performer Camila Cabello will become the first recipient of the Fangirls Award, an honour conceived to “recognize a female artist who has pushed boundaries with her music and message while inspiring her fans around the globe.” Like Sheeran, Cabello is nominated for five awards including Best New Pop Artist and Best Solo Breakout (which, along with Best Remix, Best Cover Song, and Best Boy Band, you can still vote for on the iHeartRadio website).

Chance the Rapper will perform and receive the Innovator Award, a prize that recognizes his “groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry and his unsurpassable contributions to social causes.” Maroon 5, who recently dropped the music video for their upbeat single “Wait,” will also perform.

Don’t miss the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, hosted by Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled, on March 11 at 8 p.m. ET on Much. You can also check out the full list of iHeartRadio Awards nominees here.
