Spotlight: Majid Jordan is one the most exciting projects I’ve worked on to date. It means a lot to me personally and professionally and beyond everything else, the boys and I had a great conversation that you’ll find intriguing and insightful.

The two became friends after meeting at Majid’s birthday party. They got their big break in 2013 when Drake signed the duo to his record label OVO Sound, and were then featured on Drake’s track “Hold On We’re Going Home,” one of his most successful singles to date. Majid Jordan went on to release their self-titled debut album in 2016 to critical and commercial success, cracking the top 10 on the R&B charts.
Majid Jordan’s minimal yet soulful sound stands on its own. Their sophomore release, The Space Between, released late last year, draws listeners in with catchy and smooth beats. The duo are currently on a world tour—don’t miss them when they come to your city!
