Lorde fans, rejoice! More than three years after the release of her first and only album, Pure Heroine, it looks like plans for a follow-up record are finally starting to come together.

In true Lorde form, the singer-songwriter dropped the news with almost zero fanfare, sneakily mentioning that she’s currently finishing her highly anticipated album in an Instagram post that celebrated the birth of her new godson. You can’t get anything past us, Lorde.

While no official release date for the album has been announced, Bonnaroo (which takes place in June) and Coachella (which takes place in April) both include Lorde in their 2017 lineups. Fans have taken this to mean that Lorde will release new music sometime in spring, and based on all the evidence, we have to agree.

Apart from songs included on 2014’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and a feature credit on Disclosure’s “Magnets” in 2015, Lorde hasn’t released any new music since her 2013 debut. Read: We’re ready for this.
