Following Lorde’s memorable but silent performance of “Homemade Dynamite” at the MTV VMAs, the singer shared a picture of herself along with Best New Artist winner Khalid. Lorde captioned the photo with 21 asterisks, leading fans to believe they stood for “Homemade Dynamite Remix.”

The image also included four astronaut emojis, which lead to speculation on who could be joining Lorde and Khalid in studio for the remix. Thankfully, we now have an answer and it’s a good one.

Just released today, Lorde has debuted an exciting new remix of “Homemade Dynamite” featuring Khalid along with SZA and Post Malone.

The remixed version features the same intro and back track, but additional vocals are laid down by Khalid, with SZA and Post Malone, who wrote new verses for the trance-inducing earworm.

Showing the power of Lorde, the new remix effectively blows shit up with three of the buzziest musicians of 2017.

Prior to his VMA win for Best New Artist, Khalid released his debut album American Teen in April and sold out his American and European tours. The 19 year-old also performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March, while his track “Angels” made it on to an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in April.

Singer SZA has become a fan favourite for today’s biggest musicians, listing Alessia Cara and Maroon 5 as supporters. In August, SZA even teamed up with Maroon 5 in the studio to record “What Lovers Do.” The MTV VMA Best New Artist nominee dropped her debut album CTRL in June and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart.

As for Post Malone, the rapper performed at the 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs thanks to the popularity of his singles “White Iverson” and “Congratulations.” Following an opening spot on Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour, Malone has begun working on his sophomore album Beerbongs and Bentleys.
