Katy Perry’s quest to be the worst Birthday entertainer in the history of time continues with creepy new character posters. Going undercover in five different roles for her upcoming video for Birthday, due out today, Perry has now released posters for all five characters she portrays in the video and fittingly so, they’re all a bit terrifying.
Displaying lyrics from Birthday, each poster features a retro animation the five characters, including Goldie The Dancer, Yousef Shulman The MC, Kriss The Clown, Ace The Animal Training and Princess Mandee.
In typical Perry fashion, the pop singer is going big with her promotion for Birthday, having already released a delicious lyric video, a teaser video, and extended clips from Birthday while on the late night circuit. The woman is an overachiever and I appreciate it.
