Jennifer Lawrence is the latest celebrity to fall victim to illegal hackers. A rep for The Hunger Games actress has confirmed that nude photos leaked from Lawrence’s personal property are in fact real. Well, that’s horribly violating.
Other actresses who have been targeted in the sex crime include Mary Winstead, as well as Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande, with both child stars denying the legitimacy of the photos.
Lawrence has so far only commented on the crime through her rep, but Winstead has taken to Twitter to address the leaks. The Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World actress chastised those who looked at the private photos Winstead took with her husband and sent her condolences to other actresses who were affected by the hacker.
Girls actress Lena Dunham has also taken to Twitter to express her concern over the leaked nudes. Dunham urged people to not view the pics and remember that the leak was a violation of personal property and a sex crime.
Sometimes technology, more accurately people abusing technology, can suck.
