Jaden Smith is continuing his foray into the family music business. Following in the footsteps of his father Will Smith and little sister Willow, Jaden has now released a new music video titled “Fallen”—and is teasing more tunes to come.

Smith has shown off his musicality in the past, releasing songs on his own and working with artist Rich The Kid, but now it appears that Jaden may be preparing for a full album or mixtape.

The actor and musician just dropped a new music video for his track “Fallen,” pulling triple duty as a rapper, singer and director. The video is shot on set of a Western film, with the opening credits labeling the scene as ‘Calabasas 1867,’ a town fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will recognize as the home of the famous reality family and many other celebs.

The mention of the year doesn’t play a role in the theme of the video, as Smith is dressed in modern clothing while stumbling around the empty set and throwing up a dark liquid.

In addition to the Western set, Smith also uses the stunning California mountains as a backdrop for more stumbling and vomiting, joined for a few scenes by Kardashian family friend Harry Hudson, who plays the role of ‘Sheriff.’ The end credits reveal Smith’s character’s name as Syre, with the final scene promising ‘Syre – Coming Soon.’ A new mixtape? Album? Line of dark vomit hitting stores imminently?

The video premiered on Kid Cudi’s twitter page, not surprising considering the men’s longstanding friendship. Smith and his sister Willow appeared in Cudi’s video for “Surfin’,” with Cudi thanking the siblings in a Facebook post following his time in treatment for depression. Smith paid homage to his friend by displaying a vinyl copy Cudi’s Man On The Moon album throughout the video.

As for the song itself, Smith seems to be taking inspiration from R&B singer Frank Ocean, a move we understand. Who wouldn’t want to sound like Frank Ocean? The young artist shows promise with the new love song, putting his emotions and his vocal range on display.
