How To Watch The Tragically Hip Documentary ‘Long Time Running’ Tonight

Published: October 20, 2017

It’s been a somber few days since the world learned that The Tragically Hip’s formidable frontman Gord Downie had passed away following a brave battle with brain cancer.

To pay tribute to the Canadian hero, CTV will premiere the acclaimed documentary Long Time Running tonight.

From award-winning directors Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas De Pencier, Long Time Running was shot during The Tragically Hip’s iconic 2016 Man Machine Poem tour and emotional final concert in their hometown of Kingston. Through interviews, performances, behind-the-scenes footage, fan testimonials and so much more, audiences will be given an intimate glimpse into the world of one of Canada’s most beloved bands, and Downie’s courageous final year.
