Everything You Missed At Comic Con

Published: July 28, 2014

In case you didn’t know, San Diego hosted the annual Comic Con this weekend. And if you think that Comic Con is just a bunch of nerds dressing up in Star Wars costumes and comparing comic books you’re mistaken. True, people dress up in cosplay, but there’s so much more to Comic Con. The convention has turned into a cultural event with about every popular television show and movie having a panel. It’s basically Coachella for nerds. It’s also famously known for giving sneak peaks and spoiler for upcoming movies. And if you, like us, were not fortunate enough to attend Comic Con in person do not worry. We have scoured the internet to give you everything important that happened at Comic Con this year. As Sadie from Awkward would say, you’re welcome.

Sin City

9 years after the first movie the Sin City: A Dame To Kill For trailer was finally released at Comic Con. Be sure to look out for Lady Gaga in the trailer.

The Vampire Diaries

After that jaw dropping season 5 finale, fans were scared that this finally might be the end of Damon and Bonnie. However executive producer Julie Pec revealed that the two will still be on the show. “The mystery is where are they, what happened, are they dead, not dead, and what the hell are they going to do together, those two of all people?” Also the sixth season will begin four months after the events in the finale, so we get to see how Stefan and Elena have coped with life without Damon.

Wonder Woman

Perhaps one of the most anticipated movies at the convention was Superman V. Batman: Dawn of Justice. Zack Snyder gave everyone a sneak peak of the movie and released the first image of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Horns
We already posted a teaser for Daniel Radcliff’s new thriller Horns, but the Comic Con panel for the movie revealed the full trailer. Check out Daniel acting very un-Harry Potter like.

The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron

The Avengers panel was one of the biggest highlights to the weekend. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo were all present to discuss the new movie. Footage was shown of the film, but unfortunately it hasn’t hit the internet yet. But you can read a description of the trailer here.

The Giver

The Giver is quickly on root to become the next Hunger Games or Divergent. The movie is described as one of the original dysotopic novels turned movies. And the star Brenton Thwaites will be the newest celebrity to dominate your tumblr dashboard.
