Drake is celebrating his birthday in a big way. Last night the Toronto rapper appeared on his weekly OVO Radio Show only a few hours before turning the big 3-0 and not only announced a new “playlist” coming in December, but also debuted three new tracks.

“I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist. I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there. Just really excited.”

Drake went on to talk about his hugely successful Summer Sixteen Tour, which ended prematurely due to an injury. Still, Drake isn’t slowing down, instead announcing his new tour plans.

“I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people would like go probably take a break, but for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again. Boy Meets World Tour, coming up soon. UK, I’ll be there soon. Big up to UK massive. Everybody—Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, anywhere we are touching down. But yeah, I just want to celebrate life. More life. That’s what we live by. That’s something we not take for granted.”

Drake debuted “Two Birds, One Stone,” “Sneakin'” featuring 21 Savage and “Fake Love,” which will appear on his new playlist and can be heard here.

Unfortunately, Drizzy’s birthday celebration isn’t all good times.

The self-proclaimed 6ix God has a new verse about Kid Cudi, who in September publically called out Kanye West and Drake on Twitter for not supporting him. Cudi checked into rehab earlier this month after posting on Facebook that he was dealing with depression and suicidal urges.

Drake has now responded in an unfortunately tone deaf and harmful diss, calling into question Cudi’s depression and making light of a serious disease. On “Two Birds One Stone,” Drake raps, “You were the man on the moon / Now you just go through your phases / Life of the angry and famous / Rap like I know I’m the greatest / Then give you the tropical flavors / Still never been on hiatus / You stay xanned and perked up / So when reality set in you don’t gotta face it.”

Let’s hope 30 brings more understanding and a better awareness for how Drake’s lyrics could affect his fans.
