The main takeaway from The Chainsmokers and Illenium‘s most recent YouTube activity? Their collaboration of the same name is on the way.
A short, 15-second clip billed as the Official Video Teaser for the track surfaced on Columbia Records’ YouTube page on July 18, effectively drumming up anticipation for the forthcoming release. The camera follows Andrew Taggart, Illenium, and the single’s featured vocalist, Lennon Stella, as they tread the area that surrounds New York City’s recently erected landmark, Vessel, and weave their way through the multi-tiered structure. Heavily pored over on Instagram, Vessel opened in March of 2019 and was established as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. The locale provides a fitting backdrop for what will invariably become a resounding radio-acquainted release.
The Chainsmokers first debuted the collaboration during their set at Ultra Music Festival 2019.
