GRiZ releases 13-track remix album, announces full ‘Good Will Continue’ tour

Published: August 18, 2017

When Grant Kwiecinski, the man behind GRiZ,  began rolling out his 2017 Fall tour, “Good Will Continue,” it came with suspicions that the Detroit-native was wrapping a new album. Since then, GRiZ has been releasing remix after remix from his now year-old Good Will Prevail LP, including AC Slater’s impressive Nightbass rendering which premiered on DA earlier this week.

So, naturally, it came with more than mere speculation that the future-funk master would release an entire remix package of some heavy hitting, genre-spanning collabs, including Dirty Audio, Juneaux, Tommy Trash, and many more. From the sharp synths of Boogie T’s rework of “Can’t Hold Me Down” to the glitchy bass lines in Barclays Crenshaw‘s re-imagining of “Gotta Push On,” the project is chalked full of high-profile remixes, cleanly rinsed by Kwiecinski himself, as well as features from some up-and-coming producers like Brooklyn’s own Birocratic.

With the release comes the full roll out of his “Good Will Continue” tour, a follow-up to his last album tour, “Good Will Prevail,” which was a response to the overwhelming political negativity of the times. Phase three of the Fall tour now includes six stops along the Midwest and Northeast, including New York State and Kansas City. Now, more than ever, is when we need GRiZ’s positive message of love and self-acceptance.
