TOPS, the Montreal loft scene's easy listening pop group, have a new album out this year on Arbutus Records. "Way To Be Loved" boasts a fuller sound than the glittering jangle of their debutTender Opposites. Still, an odd brew of pity and summertime crush niftily marries the band's melancholy streak with their jiggy, synth-speckled grooves.
