PUP, "Mabu"

YouTube Video

Ask any band and they'll tell you the secret totouring is having some kind of vehicle, to transport you and your crew safely and efficiently. Seasoned pop-punk veterans that they are, PUP toured for ages in the titular "Mabu." The car is on its way out though, and the band give it a send off in a demolition derby in this video, directed by Menno Versteeg of Hollerado. Watch their nonsense, slow-mo preparation - pizza rims, trunk as cereal bowl, lots of broken glass - and the much faster main event above.

PUP's new self-titled album is out now via Royal Mountain Records.

Skepta feat. Wiki, "That's Not Me" (U.S. remix)

YouTube Video

Grime veteran Skepta brought the London hip-hop subgenre back to the UK charts with his original version of "That's Not Me." Both classical grime and not strictly for the purists, it bottles the instant joy of "I'm Different" while threatening to rearrange your molecules. RATKING, the New York power plant, focus their own unique energy with a similar hairpin. So it's a natural fit for that group's Wiki to jump on the remix, and deliver an intimate party video where only those who clearly get it are invited.

Tweedy, "Low Key"

YouTube Video

Nick Offerman, the popular Parks and Recreation actor and man's man comedy nerd, takes his place with Tom Scharpling as Funny Guy Who Direct Music Video Good. Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and sontaketheirnew folk-rock band Tweedy to the streets, and attempt to sell their album door-to-door to a colourful cast (Conan O'Brien, Chance The Rapper, Steve Albini, etc.). I thought I was going to spend the whole day without seeing one cameo. Thank God for this.

Tweedy's new album Sukierae is out now via Anti-.
