Despite a name promoting Alberta, this indie rock band formed in 2006 right here in Toronto. Twelve years later they aren’t slowing down. The Rural Alberta Advantage released their fourth album in 2017 and are currently working on a fifth.
We caught up with the trio (Nils Edenloff, Paul Banwatt and Amy Cole) in their rehearsal space to discover what their creative process is like, where Ontario meets Alberta, and the secret to crafting a solid set list.
