Though the separation seemed to be acrimonious for quite some time, reports started to show up around 2010 that Oliveri and Homme were at least in speaking terms again – the bassist even asked if he could sing on a QOTSA gig that year, but Homme said it “wasn’t a good idea yet”.

In 2012, a reunion of sorts actually took place, as Oliveri contributed some vocals to QOTSA’s latest album…Like Clockwork. Last night, in Portland, things came full circle, with Oliveri being invited onstage to singYou Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar But I Fell Like a Millionaire, a full ten years after leaving the band. Watch footage of the performance below:

One thing that helped the event take place was the fact that Moistboyz opened for QOTSA that night, and Oliveri just so happens to play bass for them. Earlier in the set, Homme even dedicatedBetter Living Through Chemistry to the former bassist.
