This isnt The Budos Band IV, this isnt just more of the same.We made a conscious decision to embark on a new sound, this record is fuzzy, buzzy and raw, and more obviously psychedelic.
While their brand of instrumental funk is still readily apparent (first single “The Sticks” starts out with a sample-ready drum break and heavy groove), the buzz saw fuzz-guitars and guttural horn section looming just overhead signal a more adventurous approach. Check it out below:
