On May 19th, Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas are releasing a 7″ of Deceptacon, their awesome Le Tigre cover kinda sorta debuted at their Antiquiet Session here. That’s great news in and of itself; I never expected to get a studio version of the cover. In the meantime though, they’ve put the B-side, Don’t Take My Man To Idaho up on SoundCloud.
As Paste quotes Jessica, the 7″ is one of her most fun releases to date: “made up of a funny song I wrote about cocaine stealing my man and a cover by Le Tigre, one of my favorite bands as a teen.” In case you missed it, here’s that amazing live version from our session, to give you an idea of how they roll:
The band has a ton of tour dates lined up from the end of May all the way through July. Go find one.
