Mike WiLL Made-It is one of the most talented elite producers in contemporary Hip-Hop and he’s at the top of his game on his new Ransom 2 project. We know this because he’s been hitting us in the head with tracks from the album at an alarming rate over the last couple of weeks. On pretty much each one, Mike’s production helps to highlight and enhance the best qualities of the artists he’s working with, from Future’s melodic growls on “Razzle Dazzle” to the unlikely marriage of Chief Keef and Rae Sremmurd’s disparate talents on “Come Down”. Hell, he even has Pharrell spitting that dope boy fresh shit on their amazing collaboration “Aries (Yugo)”, which is a side of P we don’t get to hear too much of these days. Yessir, it appears Mike WiLL went and made the hell out of this album.
