Let’s revisit Biggie’s classic “I Got A Story To Tell” from his musical opus, Life After Death. If you remember, Biggie provided a scintillating narrative about sleeping with a former New York Knicks’ player’s girlfriend. Biggie never revealed who the player was, but many identified John Starks as the likely culprit. Well, we may have a resolution to the madness that has stumped us for years. On ESPN’sHighly Questionablewith Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard, John Starks answered all of our questions pertaining to his role in Biggie’s song.

“Yeah. People ask me about that. It wasn’t me. First and foremost. I’m not even 6’5, I’m 6’2 actually. So it couldn’t be about me. I know who it was about. But I’m not gonna say. Nah. I can’t tell you. But, I just want to get it clear, it wasn’t about me.”

Well if it wasn’t John Starks, who was it?
