Ed. Note: There was a time I could give you the straight dope on what’s metal and what’s punk and what’s hardcore but now, I don’t know worth a good goddamn and that’s just fine, I think. Heavy is as heavy does and Every Time I Die is heavy as fuck on account of them being from the cold, dark and only other part of New York people who aren’t a Cuomo know or maybe the Humongous just wails wasteland solos in their hardest of tattooed hearts. Who knows? Who cares? The band kills and that’s exactly why Mr. Todd Sipes went ahead and shot them crazy as hell, stomping back from the brink of Bay Area extinction with a hot steaming pile of sweaty evidence.
