U2 Send Fans Mysterious "Blackout" Letters

U2 have spent the better part of 2017 celebrating the
30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree, but it seems as if the Irish rockers may have some new material in the works. Fans of the band have received cryptic mail-outs that suggest Bono and co. are definitely up to something.
The letters arrived on printed sheets from William Blake's
Songs of Innocence and of Experience, which lent its name to the band's 2014 studio album,
Songs of Innocence.
Atop the poetic verse are a pair of black silhouettes, highlighting the word "Blackout" and then the phrase: "It's clear who you are will appear."
There's also a link to
U2.com and a tantalizing closing line that simply reads "U2 will announce" — but the remaining information is redacted.
