Tune-Yards stood as one of our
most anticipated albums of this year, and now
I can feel you creep into my private life has finally arrived.
Out today through
4AD, the 12-track effort follows 2014's
Nikki Nack. It also marks the first album for the group as a duo, in addition to abandoning the "tUnE-yArDs" band name stylization.
The 12 tracks find band leader Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner exploring themes of "race, politics, intersectional feminism and environmental prophecies." Previously released singles
"Look at Your Hands," "ABC 123" and
"Heart Attack" all appear in the tracklist.
