'Trailer Park Boys' Actor John Dunsworth Dead at 71

The
Trailer Park Boys have sadly lost one of their most memorable characters as John Dunsworth, the actor behind Jim Lahey, has passed away. He was 71 years old.
John's daughter Sarah Dunsworth, who also acts on
Trailer Park Boys, confirmed news of his death on Twitter,
writing, "With heavy and broken hearts the family of John F. Dunsworth would like to let people know that our amazing husband, father and grandfather John Dunsworth has passed away. John left this world peacefully after a short and unexpected illness. The family would like to request that our privacy is respected during this time of grief."
Born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, John Dunsworth's career also included roles in
Haven,
Weirdos,
Swearnet,
Call Me Fitz and plenty of other projects.
Still, he was best known as the lovably irreverent Mr. Lahey on
TPB. He'll appear in Season 12 of the show next year.
