Though the 1975 are currently in the throes of a lengthy North American tour, the band have announced the title of their forthcoming third LP.

Taking to Beats 1 Radio today (April 27), frontman Matty Healy revealed that the LP will be titled Music for Cars. The album currently has no set release date, but it is set to follow last year's I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.

Healy had tweeted the album's title earlier this month, adding that "I like it when you sleep is coming to an end." The frontman expanded on that quote on Beats 1, saying, "We were always gonna do a trilogy of records. I'm not saying that after this album it's the end of the 1975, but it's the end of an era."

Of course, the band also released an EP of the same name in 2013, preceding their self-titled debut LP that same year.

While we await further details on Music for Cars, take a look at the band's North American tour itinerary here.
