Record Store Day 2014, AC/DC's Retirement Scare and Wu-Tang's Inner Struggle in Our News Roundup

Well, it's finally here: Record Store Day! Music retailers the world over are marking the celebration today (April 19), filling their bins with prime LPs, lining up live events and engaging in all sorts of festivities. We've done our part by listing off the extensive array of RSD 2014 exclusives, as well as made some recommendations of which ones you should be on the lookout for. But before you hit the shops or perhaps while you're soaking in some of those newly acquired sounds back at home, have a look at what other news grabbed our headlines this week.

First off, AC/DC gave their fans quite the scare this week when rumours emerged that the band were calling it a day due to health concerns. The group quickly clarified things, though, telling their devoted that they are not retiring just yet but that Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band.

Also this week we had Childish Gambino venting some serious label frustrations, Courtney Love throwing some hate towards Queens of the Stone Age, and Raekwon giving RZA a piece of his mind.

In Canada, it was again another big week for festival announcements, as we got lineup reveals from Saskatchewan's Gateway Festival, Owen Sound's Mudtown Music & Arts Festival, Guelph's Hillside Festival and Sudbury's Northern Lights Festival Boral.
