It's been a few years since Queens of the Stone Age have toured, but they made their return well worth the wait. Taking no time to ease the crowd in, the band kicked off their set with a bang to the gritty sounds of "Feel Good Hit of the Summer." Josh Homme and company came out in full force, with a level of charisma that found the crowd right in the palm of their hands.

From the downtempo stomp of "Smooth Sailing," to the quirky, fuzzed out "Little Sister," the band busted out hit after hit, to the delight of those in attendance. The band strutted around the stage with an air of confidence that's well deserved for a band who have been consistently good for over two decades.

After recently announcing they have a new album on the way, the band showcased new track "The Way You Used to Do" midway through their stellar set. If the song was any indication of what to expect from the upcoming record, it's sure to be one of the best rock albums to come out for a foreseeable future.

Homme frequently thanked the crowd throughout their set — possibly even a few too many times — but the crowd didn't seem to mind. Keeping the energy up as their headlining set was coming to a close, the band drove the crowd nuts when they tore through "Go With the Flow," followed by the back-to-back finale of "Keep Your Eyes Peeled" and "A Song For the Dead." The band's return to the stage was a magnificent demonstration why rock will never die, as well as why Queens of the Stone Age are still one of the greatest current rock bands.
