'Ice Road Truckers' Star Darrell Ward Dies in Plane Crash

Darrell Ward, star of the hit reality show
Ice Road Truckers, has passed away. The 52-year-old died in a plane crash in Montana on Sunday (August 28).
According to
Fox 411, Ward was flying to Missoula, Montana, where he planned to start work on a new series about plane wrecks. His own pilot tried to land on a small airstrip when something went wrong.
Eye witnesses reported that the plane hit multiple trees before crashing into the shoulder of the I-90 highway.
Both Ward and his pilot were killed in the crash.
