​Here's What's Streaming on Netflix Canada This December

Now that you've binged your way through Stranger Things Season 2 and The Punisher, the folks behind the scenes at Netflix are here to top up your viewing selection. There's plenty of new and original content hitting the streaming service in time for the holidays, so quit stringing up that popcorn for the Christmas tree and start eating it as you melt into the couch and confirm for the millionth time that you're still watching.
 
Will Smith will make his debut in a Netflix original film with Bright, which finds him teaming up with Joel Edgerton to form a human-orc LAPD tag team defending the city against an evil underworld. It arrives on December 22.
 
A few slightly more festive Netflix original offerings will also hit the screen this month, with El Camino Christmas (December 8) and Christmas Inheritance (December 15).
 
There's also plenty of original TV programming landing at Netflix this month, including weekly new episodes of Chelsea, Dynasty and Riverdale, and complete new seasons of The Crown (December 8), Fuller House (December 22), Bill Nye Saves the World (December 29), Easy (December 1), The Ranch (December 15) and Cable Girls (December 25).

Brand new shows like Dark (December 1), Erased (December 15), La Casa de Papel (December 20), 72 Dangerous Animals: Latin America (December 22), Dope (December 22), The Toys That Made Us (December 22) and La Mante (December 29) will also make their Netflix debuts.
 
Some big-name comedians will be releasing new specials on Netflix in the coming weeks, including Dave Chappelle's Equanimity (December 31), Craig Ferguson's Tickle Fight (December 5), Judd Apatow's The Return (December 12), Russell Howard's Recalibrate (December 19) and Todd Barry's Spicy Honey (December 26).
 
If documentaries are more your jam, Voyeur creeps onto the streaming service on December 1, while Wormwood arrives on December 15.
 
It's not just Netflix originals on the way, though, with tons of other titles also arriving in December, like Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (December 5), Power Rangers (December 6), Sinister 2 (December 1), Table 19 (December 1), The Little Hours (December 10), Concussion (December 14), Sicario (December 30), Slap Shot (December 1), Sleeping with the Enemy (December 1), Wild (December 1), Wilson (December 1) and Paris Can Wait (December 4).
 
Documentary lovers, meanwhile, may want to check out Diana: In Her Own Words (December 1), Forbidden Games: The Justin Fashanu Story (December 1).
 
To make room for all the incoming content, Netflix is saying goodbye to some titles too. You've only got until December 1 to watch seasons 9 and 10 of Dragon's Den, seasons 1 and 2 of Glee, Runner Runner, Sherlock Holmes, The Revenant and The WolverineThe Good Dinosaur leaves on December 7, and No Reservations and Pitch Perfect stop streaming on December 14.
