Dead Cross Cancel Show After Mike Patton Injured in Accident

supergroup Dead Cross are currently
on tour behind their
self-titled debut, but they seem to be having a pretty rough go of it on the road. After recovering from
a run-in with the cops last week, the band were forced to cancel a show yesterday (August 21) in Los Angeles.
Frontman (and Faith No More singer) Mike Patton was unable to perform due to an injury, apparently caused by a car accident. His bandmates Mike Crain and Dave Lombardo arrived on stage at the El Rey Theater, only to inform the crowd that the gig had to be called off.
"There's been an accident, Mike was in an accident," they announced. "It's not grave, but he's unable to be here tonight, he's hurt. I'm sorry, we apologize."
They went on to promise a rescheduled date in the future, and offered a refund on last night's show to anyone in attendance. Watch a fan-shot clip of the bad news below.
The band have yet to offer any updates on Patton's condition or their upcoming run of shows. As of right now, Dead Cross are slated to perform in Berkeley, CA, tomorrow night (August 23) and in Vancouver on Friday (August 25).
